Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
I am an Interventional Radiologist who, in my current clinical practice as an Attending Interventional Radiologist at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers involving the lung, liver, bone and genitourinary system utilizing minimally invasive image-guided techniques. Upon gaining acceptance to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, I dedicated my career to addressing disparities in the delivery of adequate health care to underserved minority populations and to the recruitment and retention of qualified minority candidates to the health care sciences. Subsequently, as an Attending Radiologist, I have actively participated in mentoring minority high school, college and medical students with interests in Interventional Radiology and cancer disparities research. I continue to dedicate myself to exposing qualified minority candidates to careers in medicine and I am actively involved in minority faculty recruitment and retention at our institution.
